Description:Sharpened diamond cleavage in brass mount no. 32458 for use as a microtome knife. It is said these knives were capable of slicing a smoke particle into 9 pieces. This was a reject and has a chip on the corner. Ex. William Bill Severance (1931-2023) collection; received as gift from Fred Keidel ca. 1990
